RH Considers Expanded Distribution Center in California

Word has leaked that Restoration Hardware is the company negotiating to build a 1.5 million-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in west Patterson, which is expected to create hundreds of jobs in Stanislaus County, Calif.
If construction proceeds as planned, it would be among the largest distribution centers in the world and the region’s biggest building.
As of Thursday afternoon, however, no land sale had been legally recorded for the proposed 90-acre construction site off Rogers Road and no formal announcement had been made revealing the buyer’s identity.
Patterson city officials approved the deal last month, using only its code name: Project XX.
