Blu Sleep Products Opens Florida Facility

Canada-based Blu Sleep Products has opened its first U.S. distribution center, warehouse and assembly plant in Pompano Beach, Fla.
The company said U.S. sales have increased making it important to boost its customer service capabilities.
“This new warehouse and assembly facility will help us overcome sales resistance from US retailers who were concerned about shipping time and cross border delays,” said Alex Ciccolella, Blu Sleep co-owner. “All of our products will be offered from our Florida facility from this point on. Our customers are very excited to hear about this, and we anticipate an even greater increase in business by opening this US-based facility.”
Brian Sherebrin, national sales manager, will over see the operations at the Florida facility.
Earlier this year, Blu Sleep took the company’s first steps in its planned U.S. expansion by opening a showroom in The World Market Center in Las Vegas during the January market. The company also expanded their pillow line with four new wool-based pillows and four new fiber-based pillows at the January market along with its six-bed Somni Specialty Sleep Mattress collection.
