Cresent Furniture Opens New Headquarters

Solid wood supplier Cresent Fine Furniture recently opened a new office headquarters in Gallatin, Tenn.

The energy- and space-efficient facility houses supply chain management, sales, Web and creative development services, finance, customer service and quality assurance teams.

“We are confident in our future and have made this investment to bring our team together under one roof to improve communications both internally and with our retail partners," said Dennis Condra, CEO. "Our profitable growth and the steady expansion of our new lifestyle designs has bolstered Cresent’s business."

The office is adjacent to the company's distribution center.

"Locating the new offices beside our distribution center improves efficiency in our logistic operations, which in turn helps us serve our retail partners," said Taylor Condra, co-owner and director of operations. "We designed the office space to promote a collaborative environment for our team and stimulate knowledge sharing across the various branches of the business.”

The office welcomes visitors with a greeting room housing classic Cresent pieces from the company’s humble beginnings in 1947 through the early 1990s. “We are always mindful of our rich history and the role Queen Anne and Chippendale styles played in our early success in the furniture industry,” Dennis Condra said.

A conference room connects to Cresent’s design and manufacturing office in Vietnam.

“This keeps our entire team in sync with daily production and shipping information and helps us respond quickly to retailers' needs,” said Richard Tomkins, co-owner and head of sales and marketing.
