City Furniture Continues Expansion

South Florida furniture retailer City Furniture opened the first of four new South Florida locations Monday. The new “superstore” in Cutler Bay features an Ashley Furniture HomeStore and a City Furniture showroom.
City Furniture is planning to open Ashley stores in Dadeland and North Miami, as well as a Dolphin Mall superstore, in the next three years. The new stores will hire a total of about 150 people, City Furniture president Keith Koenig said.
The company has been a licensee of Ashley Furniture Industries since 2004. Ashley is the largest furniture retailer in North America.
The expansion follows the opening of three new stores since 2011.
