Lynch Sales Co. Celebrates Centennial

2014 by in Business Strategy, Industry
The third-generation, family-owned business has evolved over its history to become a leader in furniture liquidation and promotional sales.
Founded in 1914 by Joseph P. Lynch, the company is currently in the hands of its third generation with brothers Judson Lynch and Chris Lynch serving as co-CEOs, while their father Dan Lynch is chairman emeritus.
The company has worked to create sales plans to address the spectrum of promotional events that generate cash, expand or change locations, remodel and refurbish stores or update inventory.
Lynch is celebrating its success with a year-long celebration that will include centennial and commemorative gifts, as well as an opportunity to win a grand prize of a weeklong trip to Ireland.
“Any retailer who inquires about holding a Lynch ‘Sale of the Century’ in 2014 will receive a limited edition 100th Anniversary gift,” the Lynches said. “And if a retailer meets with a Lynch sales professional resulting in scheduling a sale to be held during 2014, they will not only receive an additional high-end commemorative gift but will be entered into the drawing for the grand prize. At the end of the year we’ll randomly select a retailer’s name and notify them that they have won the trip to Ireland.”
