Beth Lang Named GHTA Chairman

The Gift and Home Trade Association confirmed its 2011 Board of Directors during the annual GHTA Conference, held last month in New Orleans, La.

The GHTA's executive board is as follows: chairman of the board, Beth Lang of Alexa's Angels Inc.; president, Marc Rice of the Southern Link; vice president, Julie Dix of Taggies Inc.; treasurer, Todd Litzman of Brandwise Inc.; secretary, and Frederic Contino of Midwest-CBK. 

The GHTA also added several new members to its 2010 board: Paula Butler of The Butler Group Inc., Cindy Henry of Wellspring, Donna Moore of Terry Moore & Associates Inc., Denny King of Ganz, Mike Thorne with Yankee Candle Co., and John Keiser of OneCoast. Continuing their board terms are David Moses of Lazy Susan, and Dennis Nemcek of DNA.

"Already this board is hard at work," said Marc Rice, the current GHTA president. "We've been identifying industry challenges and growth opportunities, and we look forward to strengthening the gift and home industry."

Roomful Express Going Out of Business
