Kalaty Rug Corp. will add its all-new app for iPad and iPhone to the rug vendor's marketing repertoire at the January
Atlanta International Area Rug Market.The Hicksville, N.Y.-based company's other new marketing tools include a new iPad-based kiosk and an all-new comprehensive hardbound presentation catalog of the company;s complete line.
Kalaty's new iPad/iPhone application allows the viewer to browse the the company's array of hand-made rug collections in thumbnail format, browse rugs individually with available sizes or magnified with pinch and zoom capability.
"Our groundbreaking new App for iPad and iPhone gives our dealers and their customers the ability to quickly and easily access our complete line and view our products in an elegant and intuitive way," said Ariel Kalaty, a company spokesman. "In addition to our new App, we also have completed an elegant new hardbound presentation catalog of our full product line, and after 30 years in our previous location, we have opened a new New York showroom at 7 W. 34th St."

Gift and home decor vendor OneCoast has grown its World Market Center Las Vegas space to almost 14,000 square feet for the Winter Gift+Home at Las Vegas Market.
The Atlanta-based company is a leading national wholesale provider of gift, home, fashion accessories and collegiate products to retailers throughout the United States. Its expanded showroom, OneCoasts sole West Coast flagship showroom, is on the eighth floor of Building C.
"OneCoast has been very pleased with its Las Vegas show experience to date and strongly believes that World Market Center Las Vegas is on course to be the western region's gift trade market center and international destination for our industry," said John Keiser, chief executive officer of OneCoast. "Our expansion in Las Vegas will allow us to best represent our vendors in the fast growing Las Vegas Market. We believe that the winter show will be our best show to date."
