Debra Venti has joined upholstered furniture manufacturer Lazar Inds. as director of merchandising on a full-time basis.
Venti had been working with Los Angeles-based Lazar as a consultant for the past several years.
Debra has been instrumental in helping us grow our sales through her fabric merchandising efforts as our consultant, said Lazar President Robert Luce. Having Debra working with us full time will bring a level of focus to our fabric to frame merchandising that will no doubt help us become even stronger in this area of our offerings.
As part of her role with the company, Venti also will work on marketing initiatives to keep Lazar on the front end of trends in the industry.
I love everything about Lazar; the product, the fact that its domestically made and the team of people that I have been working with through the years, said Venti. Putting all my efforts and experience of manufacturing and design towards the growth of this company will hopefully enhance all that we produce. There is so much opportunity with Lazar, its probably one of the most exciting product lines in the industry today.
