Reyes to Lead PCG Latin America

Carlos Reyes has joined Profitability Consulting Group as president of the furniture retail and manufacturing consultant's new Latin American division.

Reyes came to this week's Home Furnishings Industry Conference in Palm Springs, Calif., to finalize the hiring.

He has 18 years in senior management on both the retailing and the manufacturing sides of the home furnishings industry. Reyes came to PCG from Mexico City-based contemporary furniture retailer Dettaglia Muebles, where he was responsible for 14 stores as operations director. Prior to that, Reyes was general manager at gold and silver medal maker Mexicande Joyas.

"This really works out well, because Carlos came to us with opportunities in hand," said John Egger, CEO of Profitability Consulting Group. "He's a very aggressive, strong young man."

Reyes' will work out of his office in Mexico City.
