After just one year in the city, Wayfair LLC is expanding its Ogden, Utah. warehouse and looking to hire more than 100 employees before the year is out.
One of the largest online retailers of home furnishings in the U.S., Wayfair sells and ships home products, including items such as furniture, cookware and lighting. Formerly known as CSN stores, the Boston-based company opened its Western region customer care and distribution center in Ogden May 23, 2011.

Country music star Tim McGraw will be saluting veterans in a big way while on tour this summer by giving away 25 mortgage-free housesone for each stop on his upcoming "Brothers of the Sun" tour with Kenny Chesneyto wounded or needy service members.
McGraw will kick off the campaign with a Memorial Day concert for military members at New York City's Beacon Theatre during Fleet Week. "My sister's a veteran, my uncle's a veteran, my grandfather was a veteran, one of my best friends is a veteran," McGraw said.

Phase 2 of Merinos Home Furnishings in Mooresville, N.C., will open Memorial Day.
The first phase of the retail operation opened last May in an abandoned Burlington Mills property. The new part of the retail campus will feature two buildings with four additional acres of furniture, rugs and décor. The new property takes Merinos total space to seven acres.
As part of Phase 2, Boyles Furniture will open a 30,000-square-foot, loft-style warehouse space in the Merinos complex. Their new store is called Boyles Furniture Direct. New shipments will fill the Boyles showroom over the next 60 days.
Brands added to the mix with the addition include Thomasville, Broyhill, Klaussner, and others with a focus on furniture made in the United States.
The new space also features youth furniture, office furniture and casual furniture.
In September, Michael Bay, owner, plans to add a 120-seat pizzeria with wood-fired brick ovens from Italy.
Plans also call for a 27-acre complex with artisans on site producing custom, designer furniture and a European design center devoted to helping European clients select furniture and other pieces for shipment home.
"We've created Merinos to be a fun destination that visitors to our area will make a point of seeing, along with the city's racing shops and other attractions," Bay said.
