Kindel Furniture Company isn't just one of the oldest furniture companies in Grand Rapids, it's one of the oldest in the country.

It wears that heritage with pride. Visitors to the company are greeted by a sign that reads: "Made in the United States of America since 1901"

Increasingly, that has become a selling point for the residential furniture maker that is one of the last of its kind in Grand Rapids.

Pier 1 Imports Lifts Q3 Earnings

SFERRA Opens Showroom in Dallas

C. Jere by Artisan House Returns to AmericasMart

Accessory vendor C. Jere  by Artisan House will return to AmericasMart Atlanta with an 800-square-foot space, Building 1, Suite 14E11.

The company will celebrate with a champagne reception, featuring an exclusive

"Meet and Greet" with lead artist, Shawn Coffey, Jan. 12, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. In

addition, C. Jere by Artisan House will introduce Atlanta showgoers to 30

pieces of artwork.

The reception will treat guests to glasses of sparkling champagne, delectable

hors d€„¢oeuvres, and a personal introduction to the latest designs by the

company€„¢s artists. As a special treat, C. Jere will have lead artist, Shawn

Coffey, onsite for the  soiree. Coffey will be mingling with guests,

discussing the process of creating "metalworks of art," and highlighting

designs of his own in the showroom.

 

"As we return to the Mart after more than a decade, we felt an upscale reception was the best way to reintroduce

ourselves to AmericasMart clientele," said John Shilling, president of C.

Arteriors Opens Dallas

The 1,200-square-foot space (#301-3) will showcase 300 lamps, pendants, chandeliers, as well as Mottega by Arteriors, a customizable lamp program at the International Lighting Market. "After 25 years in Dallas, we are excited to be opening a space that is focused on the unique lighting product that Arteriors offers," said Mark Moussa, founder and creative director of Arteriors. "I consider lighting to be jewelry for the home; it is one of my passions, and I am excited about the opportunity to highlight these products to the buyers at the International Lighting Market." The new Arteriors space will feature a curated selection from the Arteriors assortment, including new introductions and pieces from collaborations with designers Barry Dixon, Laura Kirar, and Lisa Luby Ryan. A grand opening celebration for customers and market attendees will be held on Friday, Jan. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7:00 pm.
