Shankle Named High Point Business Woman of the Year

Lisa Shankle, general manager for Showplace, Showplace West and Hamilton Properties, was honored by the High Point Chamber of Commerce as the area's Business Woman of the Year.

The annual award honors business women in High Point who play a role in shaping the community and represents outstanding qualities of leadership, service and hard work.
Lisa epitomizes that this award is all about and we congratulate her," said Tom Dayvault, president and CEO of the High Point Chamber of Commerce. "With tremendous grace and humility, Lisa stives to give her best to her clients, colleagues, friends, and this community."

Shankle, has more than 30 years in the industry and joined Showplace properties in 2006 from Merchandise Mart Properties. She was most recently the leasing and property manager for Hamilton Properties which includes 200, 320 and 330 North Hamilton.

Shankle, who sits on the Board of the High Point Chamber of Commerce, is also the incoming Chairman for the Hamilton-Wrenn Design Association, a board member of the High Point Showroom Association, secretary of the City Project Development Board and immediate past chairman of the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau.
