Bernie & Phyl's Furniture Hosting 'Amazing Race' Auditions

Set for Dec. 14, teams can audition to be selected as a contestant team for the show in which 12 teams of two people compete to win a race around the world and claim a $1 million prize.

The Amazing Race is looking for teams that are strong willed, outgoing, adventurous, physically and mentally adept, can adapt to new environments, and have interesting lifestyles, backgrounds, and personalities.  Contestants will be asked to answer questions such as why they think they could win, how they already “play” The Amazing Race in daily life, what past Amazing Race member they are most like in real life, and why they are fans of the show.  Contestants are also encouraged to creatively express why they should be considered to be on the show.

“The Amazing Race is an adventure of a lifetime and it will be so exciting if one of our customers is selected to compete,” said Larry Rubin of Bernie & Phyl’s Furniture.  “We hope many couples, families, and friends will come out to audition for this great opportunity to be a part of this thrilling, action-packed show.”  

Preregistration by Dec. 12 is requested for auditions, which will be videotaped. Online registration is available.
