Hooker Furniture has promoted Sandi Teague to the new position of vice president of merchandising for Hooker Upholstery.
She oversees merchandising for custom upholstery manufacturer Sam Moore and upscale leather producer Bradington-Young. Teague reports to Michael Delgatti, president of Hooker Upholstery.
Since joining Hooker in 2010 as director of merchandising for upholstery, “she has brought a sense of fashion to our company and has established Sam Moore as a style leader with a distinctive, salable look,” said Delgatti. “Sandi’s merchandising efforts at Sam Moore have culminated in three years of consecutive sales growth.”
As part the expansion of her responsibilities, Teague will take a more active role in the merchandising of the Bradington-Young and Seven Seas Seating brands.
Prior to joining Hooker, Teague served in merchandising posts with King Hickory, Fine Furniture Design and LADD, including the Clayton-Marcus division.
