Darrow Honored with AFMA's Distinguished Service Award

The award was presented during the organization's annual meeting at the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Darrow was named president and CEO of La-Z-Boy in 2003 and chairman in 2011. Darrow joined La-Z-Boy in 1979, and during that time the company has grown into one of the largest home furnishings suppliers in the industry.

Darrow is a member of the board and executive committee of Business Leaders for Michigan, a non-profit leadership organization, and serves as vice chairman on the board of Mercy Memorial Hospital in Monroe, Mich. He is also a board member of the American Home Furnishings Alliance, and served as chairman in 2008.
