Kimball Names Executive VP

Van Winkle remains president of the office furniture group.

Van Winkle joined Kimball in 1991 as Kimball office furniture divisional controller, advancing through more responsible roles in accounting, finance and administration. In 1999 he was named vice president, chief finance and administrative officer for the six business units within the company's furniture segment. In that role, Van Winkle was responsible for accounting, finance, sales and market analysis, facilities, information technology, demand management, financial services, e-business and quality.
He was named vice president, general manager, National Office Furniture in 2003, assuming overall leadership of that brand's operations.
In 2010, Van Winkle was named president of Office Furniture Group and vice president of Kimball International with responsibility for National Office Furniture, Kimball Office, and the Furniture Group Shared Services organization. In that position, Van Winkle assumed responsibility for the full stream of business unit operations, overseeing an extensive organization including sales, marketing, administration, customer service, finance, product development and manufacturing.
