Dormeo Octaspring Completes Retail Rollout

High-end bedding vendor Dormeo Octaspring announced successful rollout of its national retail strategy that places its products in 24 of the top dealers in the country.

With key dealers such as Sit N SleepSleep Country CanadaGallery FurnitureInnovative Mattress SolutionsCity Furniture and Cardi’s  on board, the Plano, Texas-based company's products are now available coast-to-coast. That strategy coincides with robust national advertising effort.

“The march over the past year was to assure a national footprint of quality dealers so that every consumer who saw our ads could find the beds regionally. Sell through has been very strong and our floor positioning growing,” said Dormeo Octaspring President Chris Henning. “But we are not stopping there and we are making a new push to add retailers strategically to reinforce regions in the country where we need more distribution.”

Henning said the sales goal of Dormeo Octaspring was never to be in every sleep shop or furniture store in America.

“We are a very unique product with a very different sales approach," he said. "We know that our story will resonate with a certain group of quality retailers, not every one. We are pleased with our growth and the opportunity we have to build upon our success.”

For more than 10 years, Dormeo has been a leading mattress brand in Europe and Asia.  Making its North American debut as Dormeo Octaspring in 2012, the company introduced its patented Octaspring to the U.S. market.
