Moderno Contemporary Furniture Closing in Denver

The Moderno Contemporary Furniture store in Denver, Col., is going out of business.

Furniture retail consultant Deere Park & Associates will manage a going-out-of-business sale that starts Thursday, with advertising for the event directed by Focus Media Co.

Furniture brands available include Planum, Amisco, Schillig, Lazar, Elite dining, Huppe. Other items include hand knotted oriental rugs, unique accessories, lighting and accent items.

"The decision to close our business was difficult. Moderno Contemporary Furniture has been a part of the history in Denver and we have loved being a part of so many families' lives," said Steve Rabinovich, owner. "But we have decided to move on."

Moderno will honor all existing orders and warranties.

More than $2 million in inventory will be available during the sale at prices up to 75 percent off.
