Profitsystems, Nationwide Marketing Group Team up

Retail buying group Nationwide Marketing Group has partnered with furniture retail software vendor Profitsystems to offer a group program for its 3,500-plus independent members.

The Profitsystems program is designed to run every aspect of operation in the retailer’s business, including point-of-sale, inventory management, customer relationship management, a full accounting suite and more.

Nationwide’s retailers also will can take advantage of real-time online dashboards, Web site e-commerce and tablet integration. Nationwide has providing members with preloaded tablet devices, known as their Info-Pads, so the evolving initiative continues to enable retailers to adapt to the changing shopping trends of consumers.

Profitsystems targets retailers between $1 million and $80 million in annual revenue. Key components of its retail solutions include enterprise software, consulting, performance groups, advanced education, group-buying freight programs, e-commerce and web dashboards.  Its flagship product, Retailvantage features include real-time inventory management, customer relations management, point-of-sale, and accounting systems.

Headquartered in Winston-Salem, N.C,, NMG's 3,500-plus members have more than 10,000 store fronts and a combined $14 billion in annual sales.
