Bassett Net Income $1.95M for 2Q

Bassett Furniture Industries Inc. reported Tuesday having $1.95 million in net income in the second quarter compared with net income of $8 million in the second quarter in 2012.
The company had diluted earnings of 18 cents a share compared with 71 cents a year ago.
Sales were up 20.4 percent to $81.2 million.
