2 Retailers Join Furniture First

Two retailers have joined Furniture First—Ashbrook Furniture in Salem, N.H., and Furniture Traditions in Humble, Texas.

The addition of the stores brings the Furniture First Membership rolls to 208 stockholders, with 441 furniture stores in 47 states.

Furniture First’s Membership has grown substantially in recent years and that has allowed us to provide more benefits to our members," said Bill Hartman, Furniture First president. "We have over 140 home furnishings and service programs that bring our members huge benefits. That’s what makes us the sought-after buying group to belong to. Furniture First’s rebates, extra discounts, exclusive merchandise, private labels, consumer newsletters, bulletin board and individual member consulting allow our members to have a significant ‘competitive edge’ over their competition.”

The group has set its agenda for next week's High Point Market.  The group will show in the space G770 in the IHFC.

Furniture First will feature a number of products from its partners, including Decor-Rest, Homecrest, a mattress store concept format for members, casual dining from Palettes by Winesburg, and a custom dining program from Bassett Furniture.

The group will also facilitate a group tour of the Pure Latex Bliss showroom.

To wrap up the market, Furniture First will feature a best in show forum during which retail members can share information from vendors at the show.
