Living Spaces Names TV Designer as Creative Director
Furniture retailer Living Spaces has named Bravo network interior designer and house flipper Jeff Lewis as its creative director.
In the new position, Lewis is responsible for the ongoing evolution of the home furnishings retailer. As the creative director, Lewis will influence various aspects of Living Spaces’ operations, including buying, merchandising and marketing.
The retailer is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a newly launched rebranding campaign and two new stores in Scottsdale, Ariz., and San Diego. After working together on multiple events, the addition of Lewis to the Living Spaces team has created an ideal opportunity for the brand and product offering to evolve with current designs and trends.
“Jeff Lewis’ design sensibilities align with our vision for the Living Spaces brand and having him join us as the creative director will allow us to create the perfect customer experience,” said CEO Grover Geiselman.
With more than 20 years of designing and renovating homes, the Bravo star is firmly positioned at the forefront of the interior design industry. His current shows, Flipping Out (7th season in production) and Interior Therapy (2nd season) have also endeared him to viewers with his charismatic personality and unmatched wit. In 2013, Jeff also launched a paint line called Jeff Lewis Color, which is available at more than 100 retail locations.
Based in southern California, Lewis' familiarity with Living Spaces has created an opportunity to lend his expertise to one of the country’s fastest growing home furnishings retailers.
“This is a very ‘out-of-the-box’ program that allows me the ability to work with the Living Spaces team to bring an injection of new style to a very broad consumer base," Lewis said. "The company is poised for a major evolution through their rebranding efforts and this partnership will continually deliver trending, high-quality merchandise at an exceptional value.”
