Haute Design Network Adds Powell

The Haute Design Network is an invitation-only membership circle of interior designers in top markets across the world. The network connects its audience with interior design professionals in their specific regions.

Powell is featured on the Network's Web site as a distinguished member alongside other interior designers across the globe.

Powell relocated to Florida with his career path set on marine biology. While there, he met an executive with Ralph Lauren, and was hired to set up an emerging chain of stores. While doing that, Powell discovered his talent for creating beautiful interiors and putting things together.

He left Ralph Lauren in 1988 and established VIU Design. Under the VIU name, Powell continued his work with Ralph Lauren and picked up other clients like Calvin Klein, Gucci, Gianfranco Ferre, Gianni Versace, Tiffany & Co. and others who wanted Powell's aesthetic for retail displays.
