Spring Air Signs License with Pacific Coast Feather

Spring Air and Pacific Coast Feather Co. have signed a license agreement for PCFC to design, manufacture and market a line of top-of-bed accessories.

Those will be sold under the Spring Air brand and select product brands such as Sleep Sense and Chattam & Wells.

“This agreement affords us the opportunity to partner with the global leader in the basic bedding industry,” said Rick Robinson, president of Spring Air, Boston, Mass. “Pacific Coast also has an exceptional reputation for quality and customer satisfaction.”

With more than a century of manufacturing and design expertise, Seattle-based PCFC will produce and sell an innovative assortment of sleep accessories including pillows, mattress pads, comforters, protectors and sheets sets under the Spring Air banner.

PCFC will introduce the first Spring Air basic bedding products later this month at the Fall 2013 Home Fashions Market in New York City.

A separate, differentiated assortment of products geared toward the furniture and mattress channels will be presented by PCFC at the Las Vegas Furniture Market in January.

“We look forward to expanding into the accessories category with a trusted producer that shares our values, and to the increased exposure and awareness for the Spring Air brand that will ultimately follow,” Robinson said.

Founded in 1884, Pacific Coast Feather Company offers premium quality, comfort, support and durability in pillows, comforters, mattress pads, feather beds and sheets.

The Spring Air organization includes 12 manufacturing facilities across North America and operates in 33 other countries.
