Furniture Training Co. Offers Answers to Excuses

The Furniture Training Co. has added an online training module to help retail sales associates combat the excuses consumers give them while shopping for furniture.
“Excuses and How to Overcome Them” has been added to the company's selling skills section. The module helps salespeople identify and resolve the excuses shoppers give to delay purchasing, including “I can’t afford it.”
The newest training module uses the same training strategies as FTC’s other online sales training modules. The effective approaches to training guarantee that sales associates will master and implement the skills taught in the “Overcoming Excuses” module.
Current furniture retailers who subscribe to the Furniture Training Co. Web site can access the training module free of charge. Retailers not yet subscribed to the online furniture training can go
