Specialty home furnishings retailer PBTeen has partnered with celebrity stylists and fashion designers Emily Current and Meritt Elliott to create a unique collection of decorative fashions for kids' rooms.
The collection makes its debut today online and will land in stores Friday, Sept. 20. The PBTeen catalog that mails next week will include the collection.
Current and Elliott are based in Los Angeles and are known for a whimsical and timeless sensibility based on classic Americana.
The Emily & Meritt for PBTeen collaboration merges fashion and interiors along with youthfulness and sophistication.
"Emily & Meritt are true style authorities," said Sandra Stangl, president, Pottery Barn brands. "We've had so much fun exploring a new aesthetic with them. They have inspired us to look at teen design and home furnishings with a new sense of energy. PBteen is proud of the collection results, a fantastic and sophisticated look for the brand that will surely delight our customers."
The collection blends denim with touches of silver, gold and vintage-inspired glamour. The 37 pieces in the collection span seven categories, including bedding, furniture, lighting, wall décor, decorative accessories and jewelry storage.
"We've always admired Pottery Barn as a great American brand, and were thrilled to collaborate with PBteen in our first foray into home," Current and Elliott said. "We loved applying our unique worldview—charming Americana—to this project, and equally appreciated PBteen's inspired process and celebration of personal style."
