Mullinax Joins Englander Northwest in Sales, Marketing

Industry veteran Ken Mullinax has joined Englander Sleep Products as vice president of sales and marketing for Englander Northwest, Tualatin, Ore.
In his new post, Mullinax, who has spent 37 years in the bedding and home furnishings industries at both the retail and wholesale levels, reports to John Hagglund, president of Englander Northwest.
Before joining the Olive Branch, Miss.-based Englander organization, Mullinax was the owner of 24 sleep shops across Washington and Idaho, which were sold to Sleep Train USA in late 2011.
Before that, Mullinax worked for Serta from 1991 to 2000 as vice president of sales and marketing in southern California; and later as company regional vice president for the western United States.
Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of sales from 1986 to 1991 for the former Spring Air Company in southern California; and spent 15 years prior as a furniture buyer for JC Penney, based in southern California and Alaska.
