Home furnishings retailer Arhaus Furniture plans to open four stores in four states increasing its total store count in the fall of 2014 to 51 locations in 19 states.
The Cleveland, Ohio-based retailer has finalized several lease agreements to accommodate the growth.
"We're growing with three to seven stores annually, targeting luxury lifestyle centers located in high traffic areas and surrounded by our customer base," said Greg Teed, chief financial officer for the retailer.
The newest lease agreements are for stores to be located in Danbury, Conn., Schaumburg, Ill., Alpharetta, Ga., and Jacksonville, Fla. The stores range in size from 14,500 square feet to 19,000 square feet.
"We offer the right combination of designs that Americans are comfortable living with and decorating their homes with, and we merchandise them in the kind of environment that our customers not only feel inspired by, but comfortable shopping in," said John Reed, chairman and CEO.
