Augustine to Manage CORT Government Sales

Augustine will manage approximately 16 sales and support team members spread across the country. He replaces Peggy Moore, who was recently promoted to vice president of commercial sales.
Prior to joining CORT, Chantilly, Va., Augustine served as vice president for Elbit Systems, an Israeli-based corporation, where he organized domestic and global sales in the United State, Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. As vice president of business development, sales and marketing for Vectronix, a Swiss/French product company, he developed and executed successful strategic and tactical business plans, reorganized and refocused business development and sales efforts to significantly diversify the customer base. Augustine also increased product line visibility resulting in double-digit increases in revenue and profits.
Augustine completed a successful military career, retiring from the U.S. Army with the rank of colonel. He saw service in more than 20 countries as well as service on the Joint Staff and the U.S. Army Staff in the Pentagon. He commanded a battalion of 750 soldiers and participated in combat operations in Panama and the Persian Gulf.
