Customatic Technologies Donates Masks and Beds to Hospitals

Adjustable bed supplier Customatic Technologies has announced the donation of over 1,000 masks and has offered 100 adjustable beds to healthcare facilities in New York and San Francisco.

Customatic president Phil Sherman said the company distributed over 1,000 medical masks to North Shore University Hospital, Syosset Hospital and Long Island Community Hospital in New York and Kaiser Permanente in Santa Clara, Calif. The masks are compliant with the Federal Drug Administration, ISO9001 and European conformity standards. Sherman expects to donate an additional 1,000 masks to New York hospitals in the coming week.

Company officials said they are working with various government officials and healthcare facilities in the tri-state New York area to donate 100 adjustable beds and offering another 100 to friends and family at cost to help them be more comfortable while quarantined at home.

“We feel it’s important to do our part in response to the pandemic, and that begins with accessing what we have on-hand and through our global resources in an effort to help our neighbors and friends remain safe and comfortable as we all get through this together,” said Sherman.
