Imax Worldwide Home Appoints 2 VPs

Home furnishings supplier Imax Worldwide Home has named John Rains as vice president of sales and Arda Bulak has been promoted to vice president of marketing and business development.
Prior to his promotion, Rains was vice president of IT systems and eCommerce sales. In his new role, Rains will oversee all sales activity for the company including managing reps in the various territories and all eCommerce business operations. Rains attended the University of Tulsa, graduating in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in business with an emphasis on Management of Information Systems. He previously served 16 years as VP of Sales for Austral, Inc., a consulting and solutions company focusing on the Home Décor industry. He is passionate about serving others and very involved in the Life Church of Jenks, Oklahoma and The Rotary Club of Tulsa.
Bulak holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management, graduating with Honors from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. He brings a passion for innovation and digital transformation to Imax Worldwide Home and oversaw the design and development of the company’s new website/marketing platform and email marketing systems. “I am excited to work closely with John Rains to reshape Imax to push the boundaries of our industry in the new decade,” said Bulak.
In regard to the changes, Al Bulak, president of Imax says, “Our industry has experienced extreme changes in market conditions these past few years; eCommerce’s continued influence on brick and mortar stores, economic volatility, geo-political unrest and changing consumer demographics. Through these challenges Imax has been analyzing and restructuring to be more efficient and productive, and these moves are in alignment with our plan for continued forward momentum.”
