Twin Star Home Employees Grant Wishes to Local Charities

For the third year in a row company employees participated in The Spirit of Giving Annual Holiday Gift Drive. In partnership with the Junior League of Boca Raton, the Spirit of Giving Network works with more than 47 local agencies to provide gifts to needy children in Palm Beach County.

During November and the first week of December, Twin Star Home team members came together as part of their annual toy drive to collect and donate gifts for local children. The event, a tradition for Twin Star Home, collected 30 unwrapped toys.

“There are so many children living without the means to have their most basic needs met, much less receive gifts at holiday time,” said Lisa Cody, vice president of marketing. “This community-wide project allows more than 5,000 wishes to be granted for area girls and boys, and we feel honored to do our part to make their holiday season brighter.”

Additionally, employees helped the Big Dog Ranch Rescue, which has over 500 dogs available for adoption with another 100 puppies not yet ready to be placed in forever homes. The goal for the Rescue is to have a toy for every dog, so employees purchased specific gifts requested by the Rescue. Together over $1,000 was raised in dog toys and money donations to help meet the Rescue’s goal.
