Fast Fact: 2nd Quarter Bedding Sales Down 9.7% Over Last Quarter

Mattress industry sales totaled $3.71 billion in the second quarter, a 1.6% increase over the same quarter in 2018, according to preliminary estimates from Impact Consulting Services’ proprietary industry model.
Compared to this year’s first quarter, second quarter sales are down 9.7% due in part to the considerable slowing of imports and the bedding industry’s seasonality.
