Morris Furniture Taps Marcus Moore as VP of Marketing & Advertising

After an extensive search, Ohio-based Morris Furniture Company has named Marcus Moore as VP of Marketing & Advertising, replacing current VP Robert Kablen as he takes on new responsibilities at the company.
“After more than 13 years as our marketing and advertising director and most recently VP, I am excited to turn day-to-day management responsibilities over to Marcus and take on other responsibilities within our company,” said Klaben. “After a transition period of helping Marcus get to know our business, I will be taking on new responsibilities at Morris Furniture Company. I will be working with our sales teams on new initiatives including prospecting campaigns to help drive traffic into our showrooms, promoting our company in the community and spreading the word about our philanthropic endeavors.”
Prior to joining Morris Furniture Company, Moore worked for 10 years at Empower Media Marketing with clients such as Meijer, Famous Footwear, Ashley HomeStore Licensees, and Ashley Global Retail. He has been working directly with Morris Furniture Company for the past seven months.
Moore is from Marion, Ohio and now lives in Cincinnati. He and his wife have three sons with a fourth son on the way. He enjoys coaching his children's sports teams including baseball, soccer, and basketball.
