Dallas Market Center Releases 2nd Issue of Spark Magazine

Dallas Market Center has announced issue number two of its new magazine, Spark, featuring leading entrepreneurs in retail, the latest new products and trends, and insights from artists and style experts.

The cover story, The Retail Game Changers, profiles three merchants from across the country who are reimagining retail and driving its renaissance. CAMP in New York City, Neighborhood Goods in Plano, Texas, and Pigment in San Diego, share their stories of innovation and business success.

The publication is directed by Dallas Market Center’s executive vice president of marketing, Penni Barton, and creative director Guillermo Tragant, who collaborate with an internal team, external agency, and an international group of designers and writers to produce the twice-annual publication.

“The second issue of Spark presents 200 pages of timely, motivating and stylish information,” said Penni Barton. “Creatively supporting our customers is the heartbeat of our magazine and our company, and we proudly present an issue full of insightful content. We understand the business challenges faced by our customers, and the magazine serves as an important part of our marketing strategy to ignite conversations, connections and commerce.”

Added Cindy Morris, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center: “The community we help create and sustain deserves a quality magazine that balances fresh ideas with practical content and curated product highlights across all lifestyle categories. From the cover story on retail mavericks to the exhibitor highlights, no other marketplace is delivering such a unique point of view on entrepreneurs, business tips and trends. I’m confident that readers will enjoy this issue immediately but will return to it again and again as they plan their visit to our marketplace.”

Spark magazine will be delivered to 50,000 readers in May. A digital version of the magazine is available now on the Dallas Market Center website, and highlights including exclusive video extras will be on social media each week prior to June Markets.
