Fast Fact: Mattress Industry Sales Up 2% in Q4

Mattress industry sales totaled $3.60 billion in the fourth quarter, a 2 percent jump over the same quarter in 2017, according to preliminary estimates from Impact Consulting Services’ proprietary industry model.
Fourth-quarter sales were 12.9 percent below third-quarter figures, but the fourth quarter typically is industry’s weakest.
Full-year bedding sales were estimated at $15.51 billion in 2018, up 2.6 percent from 2017.
