Ziegelman Joins Diamond Mattress as VP of Marketing

Independent bedding producer Diamond Mattress has named senior marketing and sales executive Adam Ziegelman to the role of  vice president of marketing.

In this new role for the fourth-generation company, Ziegelman will be responsible for the development and implementation of branding and marketing strategies as well as go-to-market initiatives across all platforms for the fast-growing mattress and sleep wellness brand. 

Ziegelman will work closely with the sales and business development teams to drive revenue through engaging, customer-focused programs with an emphasis on innovation. He will report to company President Shaun Pennington.

“Adam has a long and proven track record with brand innovation that’s successful at retail and resonates with end-consumers,” said Pennington. “His expertise is exactly what we need as we position our company, customers and partners for strong growth through a period of disruption.”  

Ziegelman brings a fresh and global perspective through his experiences across a variety of industries. Previously with WD-40,  he led cross-functional global teams in research and development, product development and marketing, and reported directly to the company’s CEO. 

Prior to that, he held executive roles in marketing at Patagonia, VF Corp., STM and the Away Network (a division of Orbitz) where he was integral in growing global brands and market share, expanding distribution and launching products and digital platforms for B-to-B and B-to-C.  Ziegelman holds a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
