Ashley HomeStore Celebrates 8 Years of Hope to Dream Program

Ashley HomeStore has announced that its Hope to Dream program celebrated eight years, reaching a milestone of 80,000 beds donated to children in need across the U.S. and Canada.

Hope to Dream hosted its anniversary event in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast and Glazer Children’s Museum on Saturday, Dec. 15. 100 children and their families attended the event at the children’s museum where each child received a new twin mattress, bed sheets, pillow, comforter and bed frame. The children enjoyed free admission to the museum’s exhibits and exciting interactive games. Each child also received a special gift from Hope to Dream and Ashley HomeStore.

“We are excited to celebrate the children during our anniversary event. For the past eight years, we have been committed to our mission of providing a good night’s sleep to every child in need with a bed donation from Ashley HomeStore and Hope to Dream,” said Ruthie Bautista, ambassador of Hope to Dream. “We also thank the amazing partnership with Boys & Girls Club of the Suncoast and the Glazer Children’s Museum for providing this special venue for this event.”

A portion of the proceeds for every mattress purchased at a participating Ashley HomeStore helps pay for a mattress to provide children in the community a good night’s sleep who do not have a bed to call their own.

“We are grateful for this opportunity to partner with Ashley Furniture HomeStore to provide 100 Club members with a great night sleep,” said Cassie Kackley, chief development officer at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast. “We thank them for their dedication and commitment to our local Pinellas County kids.”
