BDI Promotes Dave Adams to VP of Marketing

Contemporary furniture resource BDI has promoted Dave Adams to vice president of marketing.

A veteran of the retail industry, Adams served in positions within retail management and visual display prior to joining BDI. Through the years, he has been responsible for the development and management of all marketing efforts, including developing the BDI brand for retail and consumer channels; marketing collateral and image creation; ad campaign development; the launch of the new website; showroom design and merchandising for the company’s High Point showroom as well as NeoCon and CES; editorial content direction and development; and growing brand presence through online and print channels.

“Dave has been instrumental in developing BDI into the brand that it is today. His contributions to the company extend beyond his Marketing aptitudes, as he contributes to practically all major initiatives at BDI,” said Bill Becker, CEO and design director. “Dave brings a strong sense of ownership to all projects — big and small — and his knowledge of and enthusiasm for the brand is invaluable to the company.”

In his years with BDI, Adams’ responsibilities have continued to increase and diversify, culminating in his new vp role. As a member of the executive team, Adams will increase his contribution to the company’s mission and team development.

“I am honored to be named BDI’s vice president of marketing,” said Adams. “I have learned much from my BDI team and our terrific retailers; the opportunity to serve the brand in an even greater capacity is exciting to me. Partnering with Bill and the rest of the executive team, we will continue to move BDI forward as a company known for quality, innovation, and original design.”
