McRoskey Promotes Bibo to VP of Sales and Marketing

In her new post, Bibo will oversee sales and marketing activities at all three McRoskey retail stores in the Bay Area, including its prominent flagship location on Market Street in San Francisco.

“Jill has compiled an outstanding track record of building and training our sales teams, and this new post will allow us to take advantage of her leadership and analytical skills in other aspects of our business,” said Robin Azevedo, CEO and brand ambassador. “But her unwavering dedication to customer service will remain the focal point of everything she does.”

Bibo has been with the company since 2010, when she was named retail sales manager. She was promoted to director of retail sales in 2012 and has been vp of retail sales since 2014.

Prior to joining McRoskey, she spent 18 years in the banking industry, holding several posts in financial services and mortgage lending at World Savings Bank and Wachovia, both of which are now part of Wells Fargo.

A graduate of California State University-Chico, she resides in Palo Alto, Calif., where she is a member of the board of directors of the Palo Alto Business and Professional Association. Bibo also is a member of the Peninsula Executives Association and the Better Sleep Council.

The manufacturing, marketing and distribution rights to the McRoskey brand recently were sold to Fresno, Calif.-based Pleasant Mattress, but the retail business remains in the hands of the McRoskey family.
