Star Furniture Taps FitzGerald as Chief Operating Officer

In her new role, FitzGerald will oversee the daily operations of the company, with emphasis on merchandising, marketing, store operations, web development, and the customer experience.

She will continue to be responsible for the design and execution of the renovation at the Houston flagship store, as well as, for the two new stores that will open during 2019 in Houston and San Antonio.

FitzGerald joined Star Furniture in July 2017 as chief commercial officer. Her previous assignments include CEO and president of the Door Store, vp of merchandising and e-commerce at Art Van Furniture and executive director of furniture and mattresses at Conn’s Home Plus.
