Hooker Furniture Taps Mike Harris as VP of Sales, Casegoods and Upholstery

A 30-year veteran of the furniture industry, Harris began his career as an independent home furnishings sales representative for 14 years.  He most recently served as vp of sales for leather upholstery specialist HTL International and has held various senior executive positions with Legacy Classic. He reports to Jeremy Hoff, president of Hooker Casegoods and Upholstery.

“Mike’s extensive experience in both case goods and upholstery creates a great fit with Hooker Furniture and the aggressive goals that we have to grow our business for the future. We’re excited to have him join the Hooker Furniture executive team,” said Hoff.  

Harris is replacing Matt Cowan, who began his tenure with Hooker Furniture 28 years ago, as a long-time sales representative and will be rejoining the North Texas sales team. Hoff said “He’s been an invaluable member of the Hooker Furniture team over the years, and he will remain a great asset to our company”.

Harris and his wife, Jynne’ have three grown children and live in the Greensboro area.
