Ashley Donates New Line to The Salvation Army

Ashley HomeStore has donated over 130 pieces of its newest lifestyle line, mane + mason, to the residents of The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center in Manhattan, N.Y.

The collection of furniture including beds, sofas and dining tables, along with more than 300 accessories, has been provided to the center to help families-in-need furnish their homes.

“Giving back to our local communities is a key priority of Ashley HomeStore," said Kelly Davis, senior director of marketing for Ashley HomeStore. "As the largest furniture retailer in North America, we support long-standing programs like Hope to Dream and the American Heart Association. We are proud to have partnered with The Salvation Army, and these new furniture pieces will help make a living space truly feel like a home for countless individuals and their families across the city."

The Adult Rehabilitation Center house men and women who have lost everything to substance abuse to offer them help and hope on their recovery journey. The Salvation Army is among the largest providers of such programs nationwide, serving more than 150,000 people in need each year.

"We congratulate Ashley HomeStore on the launch of mane + mason. The Salvation Army is honored to receive this generous gift to support the organization's Adult Rehabilitation Center in Manhattan," said Trish Raines, director of external communication for The Salvation Army Eastern Territory.

Ashley values the total donation at approximately $60,000.  The pieces were donated following a media event.
