Universal Appoints Jared Worrall to Executive Sales Team
Universal Furniture has added Jared Worrall to its executive sales team as vice president of sales for the West region, based in High Point.
Worrall comes to Universal from Furnitureland South, where he was sales manager. In that role, he supervised a sales force of 50 people and managed daily operations on the 1.3 million-square-foot campus. Prior to his time at Furnitureland South, he spent seven years as a director of leasing for International Market Centers.
“We are excited to have our sales leadership team complete,” said Sean O’Connor, SVP of sales. “We’ve done a lot of work over the last two years to attract and retain customers, and we have no doubt that both Chris and Jared will help to champion that effort in the years to come.”
The role of vp of sales for the West Coast was formerly held by Chris DeLisa, who joined the Universal Furniture executive team last fall. In this transition, DeLisa will become vp of sales for the East region. DeLisa was previously a Universal sales rep for the N.Y./N.J./Conn. area from 2011 to 2017.
In his new role, Worrall will report to Sean O’Connor. Worrall hails from the Boston area. He and his wife, Leanna, live in High Point.
