Earley Named CEO at FXI
Polyurethane foam producer FXI has named Harold Earley, longtime chief operating officer and chief financial officer, to president and CEO. He will also join FXI’s Board of Directors.
Earley has been with FXI since June 2009, when he was named EVP and CFO. He added the title of chief operating officer in January 2016. He has more than 25 years in senior financial leadership roles, including CFO at commercial security services provider Sonitrol Corp., and CFO at Celetronix International, a provider of electronic contract manufacturing services.
“FXI is the industry leader in quality and innovation in foam products used in many industries. It is with great pride that I assume this new position with our company,” Earley said. “We have a great team that works hard every day to deliver for our customers. Together, we’ll continue to expand and grow our business in our various segments.”
Earley is replacing John Cowles, who resigned to pursue an opportunity outside the industry. Cowles had been FXI’s president and CEO since June 2011.
“Harold has been a key member of our senior leadership team for many years, and we are excited about this new and expanded opportunity for him to work with our customers and employees,” said John Georges, chairman of FXI. “We are grateful to John Cowles for his many years of contributions to the company. We wish him well in his new endeavors.”
