Reverie Appoints New Community Manager, Social Media
Adjustable bed supplier Reverie has appointed Sara O’Keefe as its new community manager. In the role, O’Keefe will continue to connect with the company’s online community of consumers around the world about the power of sleep.
As community manager she will be responsible for the development, implementation, and optimization of community, content-and engagement strategies in the social media space for the sleep products manufacturer. She brings more than seven years of social media experience to the Reverie team with a background in agency marketing for a broad range of clients. Most recently she was a community manager with Ignite Social Media, a marketing and advertising agency based in Birmingham, Mich.
“As our social media footprint continues to expand, it is increasingly important for us to deliver Reverie's message of the power of sleep directly to consumers through our social media platforms,” said Deena Gardner, director of marketing. “We are thrilled to have Sara on board to lend her deep experience with social media marketing while providing a fresh perspective to the industry.”
In addition to managing the company’s social media profiles and presence, O’Keefe will monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about Reverie, run regular social campaigns and track the success of all social platforms.
Passionate about social media, analytics, branding and content creation, O’Keefe is currently leading Reverie’s initiative to incorporate consumer testimonials into its marketing.
“I am focused on educating consumers about the benefits and importance of sleep and how it impacts our health,” O’Keefe said. “It is such an overlooked part of our overall wellness, but possibly the most important influencer of good health. I want the initiatives and content we’re a part of to improve lives in a tangible way.”
A native of Michigan, O’Keefe graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a degree in business administration and marketing. She lives in the Detroit area.
