Latex foam producer Talalay Global has named Jennifer Costa, a marketing executive with extensive experience in brand management, integrated marketing campaigns and social media, to vp of marketing.
In her new post, Costa will oversee business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing for Talalay Global’s portfolio of latex products supplied to mattress manufacturers, as well as its Pure Talalay Bliss retail division.
“Jennifer brings a wealth of experience in multiple areas of marketing, and is a strategic thinker who will be instrumental in developing a comprehensive marketing plan,” said Marc Navarre, CEO. “She has a proven track record of achieving positive results, and we’re excited to add her to our leadership team.”
Since 2015, Costa had worked for Reed Exhibitions, a world-wide event planning organization, first as marketing manager and then marketing director. She oversaw brand management and developed marketing plans and operating plans for dozens of events in the business-to-business and business-to-consumer arenas.
In addition, she was an account executive from 2011 to 2015 at Norwalk, Conn.-based Source Marketing, where she developed and implemented marketing campaigns for BIC consumer goods such as razors and lighters.
Earlier, she worked for Greenwich, Conn.-based American Pet Products Association from 2006 to 2011, first as event/product coordinator and later as manager of trade shows and marketing.
Costa also has volunteered her time with several non-profit organizations, including the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium, Friends of Green Chimneys, APPA Professional Women’s Group, and the Norwalk Open Door Shelter.
“Talalay Global’s unique product line and its proprietary production processes are great stories to tell, and I’m excited about the opportunity to help raise the company’s profile among consumers and the trade,” said Costa.
A resident of Norwalk, Connecticut, she earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications, marketing and design from Emmanuel College in Boston.
