Harden Furniture Closed Until Further Notice

Harden Furniture, a high-quality furniture manufacturer in McConnellsville, N.Y., has shut down for the second time this year.
The first shut down was in January, when the company suspended production and laid off its 172 employees after its assets were sold to Big Shoulders Capital of Northbrook, Ill., in a foreclosure auction.
Harden Furniture has been making furniture in the Oneida County town for 174 years.
