Bush Industries Purchased by Private Equity Firm

Jamestown, N.Y.-based Bush Industries, a manufacturer of furniture for homes, home offices, and small businesses for 60 years, has been purchased by Lorraine Capital, a Buffalo, N.Y., private equity firm, reports the The Buffalo News.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Worldwide, Bush Industries has nearly 400 employees, with 300 of those in Jamestown. Aside from its manufacturing operation in Jamestown, the company has warehouse operations in Erie, Pa., and Reno, Nev. It also has an office in China.
