Barton Joins Dallas Market Center as EVP, Marketing

Barton will lead the development and execution of marketing strategies and programs across all sales channels and communications platforms for Dallas Market Center. She will oversee branding and brand marketing, communications, advertising, events, and publishing.
Barton reports to president and CEO Cindy Morris.
Barton brings almost three decades of brand and retail marketing experience to Dallas Market Center, including integrated marketing/communication strategies, creative development, content creation, special events, brand management, digital marketing, and advertising.

Barton joins Dallas Market Center from Motista, a predictive intelligence firm based in San Francisco, where she held the position of vice president, client partner.
Prior to Motista, Barton held marketing leadership positions with companies including FedEx, Dr. Pepper/7-Up, Groceryworks.com, and Yum! Brands. She was also the publisher and general manager for The Dallas Morning News’ Spanish-language newspaper, Al Dia.
Barton holds a degree in International Marketing/Spanish from Greenwich University in England. She is bilingual in English and Spanish, and has lived in South America, Spain, and Cuba.
